1. The Eiffel Tower The Eiffel Tower (French: La tour Eiffel , [tuʁ ɛfɛl] ) is an iron lattice tower located on the Champ de Mars in Paris . It was named after the engineer Gustave Eiffel , whose company designed and built the tower.
